Hello!
Experience
I have been working clinically with kids and families
for 15 years. I offer services for children (as young
as 4 years old), teens and adults (as individuals or family).
I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, and am deeply honored to walk alongside children, adolescents and families and help them heal from the inside out.
While my specialty is kids/families, I use my playful approach with clients of all ages to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, flexible and comfortable. I am passionate about creating a non-judgmental, compassionate space that welcomes you where you are, and invites you to become the best version of yourself. I am a strengths-based therapist, and have an integrative approach. What does that mean?
*Relational/Attachment: Our relationships matter - from the way our parents connected to us as children, all the way up to the relationship we will form in therapy. Harm happens in relationship, but so does healing.
*Humanistic: All humans are unique, and you are the expert on you. Mr Fred Rogers (yes, THAT beloved Mr. Rogers!) sang it best, "I like you as you are, exactly and precisely."
*Neuroscience: I love evidence and research, and work to translate complex ideas into practical strategies.
I am committed to creating a safe space for anyone to process and heal regardless of race, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, family/parental status, income and/or political beliefs. You are welcome here.
